Indeed. After the "two weeks to flatten the curve" stage of propaganda, I began questioning the theology of church leaders as to the sovereignty of God, which I found WOEFULLY lacking. I think this has been my deepest grief - that our church leaders have BETRAYED US so abysmally while hypocritically misinterpreting their role as regards government outlined in Romans 13. It has been particularly NOXIOUS to me how many so-called believers have held their brothers and sisters HOSTAGE to a faulty understanding of God's Word, God's principles, and God's Law.
I instinctively, from my years of inductive Bible study, have understood that there are many times when the Lesser Magistrates (priests and pastors, civil authorities) need to stand in the gap as interlocutors and interpolators between the tyrannical mandates of godless higher magistrates and kings. IT WAS THEIR DUTY under God to uphold His laws - ALL OF THEM - so the people could live a quiet and respectful life. They failed MISERABLY, in the main.
“Counterfeit” is again another insight you give us!
If you like Lee Child’s Jack Reacher thrillers, (spoiler alert) his novel “Killing Floor” deals, perhaps illustratively, with the nature of counterfeiting:
“They’re bleaching the dollar bills. My God, Reacher, they’re bleaching the ink off … and they’re reprinting the blank bills as hundreds.” (p. 426-427)
Our demonic counterfeiters have bleached off real medicine, science, religion, from some underlying scaffolding, to retain appearance of legitimacy, and reprinted on it counterfeit medicine, science, religion, and more. But mostly religion, as you say:
“But it was most of all their religious significance that made them irresistible.” “And the counterfeits they want us most to choose knowingly and willingly are the counterfeits of Jesus Christ and His Church, because it is knowing and loving these that we are saved, and in rejecting and hating that we are condemned.”

Your perceptions of both the masks and vaccines are spot on. I’m still struggling to understand how easily so many people have been taken in by them, especially with the clearly counterfeit propaganda to use/take them, which has been rammed down our throats daily.
To any normal thinking person, forcing experimental mRNA jabs on humans for the first time in history should be enough for them to stop and question the narrative.
So many however are clearly believers in this new “religion” - the worst part is when I see a priest performing a ritual hand-sanitising and mask-wearing before handling or giving out Jesus, our living bread. Then my heart truly sinks...
